Lee Vardi, I'm in agreeance with you on the drill bit. That must be more intellectual property that CKK now own.
Other positive contributions to that announcement that informed me with something new about the company was the recruiting of additional drilling staff with expertise in geothermal and oil and gas industries. That's a very positive statement and reinforces in my view that the company really is about to commercialise this drill with major contracts, taking this company from speculative to money making machine!
Drilling was never going to be complete until Mid Feb at least, but now it'll be Mid March. It's understandable that CKK aren't just testing the drills capabilities, but they are training staff with operating it, as well as fine tuning the drill to gain maximum efficiency. This stuff takes time, but once Warren is happy, this drill will be unleashed and fellow CKK shareholders will be smiling.
I don't think this test hole is a matter of testing if this drill works, its perfecting the drill to blow the rest of the competitors out of the water. CKK shareholders own a drill for the 21st century!!! The rest will be obsolete within 15 years. ;-)
This is my speculative opinion only. No other stock on the ASX gets me this excited.
