I can't help but think that Rex and OZL have much common interest.
Would sending the ore by rail to Prominent Hill for treatment would be economic - it would remove much of the $480m capital cost. As announced, OZL are currently modelling doing just that for the Carrapateena deposit.
It might be even better to relocate the PH plant to either Hillside, or Carrapateena, and ship the rest of the ore to it for treatment, and direct shipment. Hillside would be the best location for freight optimisation.
