I see it as Jen was recruited to acquire world class projects and set up an experienced team. Jen was paid her well to set up CHM.
now that her job is done, time for a new CEO for a cheaper salary. If this about salary ( pure guess work) , then she would be faced with taking a pay cut or being sacked.
in that case, one would resign to save face.
