Hi Slikz and Dollarfast, What many of the knockers don't seem to realise is; what a mining explorer actually is. They explorer for minerals and in doing so they have successes and failures...its goes both ways
MKY as many go at pains to highlight, has had its share of exploration failures that I won't deny, but what I really really really like about MKY is this:
Several years ago now, MKY started as a recapitalised company, shortly after recapitalsation, before exploration was underway it had $1.5 million in the bank and a just under 500 million in share capital. Today after several years, several failures and no major exploration successes it has well over $2million and still under 500 million in share capital. Whats more in that period its never asked for a cent from its shareholders or ever even looked at bank loans.
In the mean time in the same period most similar mining explorers, many even with successes have blow out the share capital to well over a billion shares, contiually raised capital via shareholders (even with plummeting shareprices) or have got heavily into debt.
MKY as a company has stayed strong even with failures...sharemarket crashes...imagine where any exploration success will take it.
I'm In :) Kelp
