Thank you for sharing that article StockAlertPro. I think it's important to keep an eye on potential alternatives that can undermine Pure Minerals market so I'll be observing those developments over time. Since the nickel price is anticipated to increase as demand for it increases, (an interviewer on Stockiehead said they believed the turning point would be 2023), it could make any alternative batteries with less expensive metals more feasible. It'll all come down to whether the alternative battery is economically feasible, and can be as reliable as Nickel batteries while having the mileage electric car users would want. We should also keep in mind that EV companies are also trying to make their nickel batteries more efficient, so alternative electric batteries need to be able to become more effective and economically feasible at a faster rate.
As far as we know, the alternative battery could become the thorium equivalent of electric vehicles. Sounds great in theory, but just isn't feasible to the point that it could be used on a commercial scale. I think it's far too early to judge whether CATL's new battery, or other alternatives to nickel batteries, will undermine Pure Minerals.
