I have been trying to get that point across for a while now by calling ours a POC RAT.

But I agree RDT is a better term to differentiate our test from (home) RAT's

I have always considered the TGA would want a more stringent approval pathway for an RDT.

[Of course that more stringent pathway wouldn't have anything to do with the pathology industry's fear of POC platforms in generak would it? What influence could they possibly wield in a fair, just and equitable society such as ours?]

I've said it before and I will say it again, PCR testing has nothing to fear from home RAT's, but everything to fear from an RDT such as ours, and with a foot in the door for our Covid RDT, the world would be our oyster for other tests at the expense of pathology labs. That is why I remain invested.]
