Great points.

I'd encourage people to take a look at the estimation processes for Residential construction. First principle is the primary method. See below for a pretty basic explanation.

Now with the screenshot in mind, can everyone please consider the benefit of an Automated Robot constructing the Walls of a single storey house in an Estate/Subdivision of 400+ lots which draws on 3D CAD designs.

I honestly don't know why people invest in FBR or post on FBR's HC threads with very little knowledge of the entire construction process and/or have very little consideration for global markets.

To the person who said that Troopy is the most knowledgeable person on here. You have got to be taking the piss. Perhaps in his Lake Macquarie area whose codes are controlled by the Local Council in conjunction with NSW regulations. It's not even worth my time looking up the infrastructure statistics for his region.
It's a big world out there champ.
