    Good point, the machine would just need to know which spaces are empty in the laying of blocks and just roll through until a block meets the head. not much time delay if its done in this manner.

    If thats the case, and its not time restrictive, then maybe its a case of why cut if you can use specially designed bricks. Cutting is messy and potentially dusty with waste, if they can eliminate it then thats the best course of action.

    Not just on an installation point of view, but also a brownfields installation as theres future access without cutting paint, drywall or white-set render/plaster.

    I honestly dont think the end solution is to use the cylinder block as seen in the demonstration, they are just a cheap alternative to show the HX can lay blocks. Once tried and proven, they will team up with suppliers WB or BKW to use specific blocks that meet water ingress and thermal properties required for building compliance ...

    FBR need to prove the machine before going out and getting suppliers to custom mold a commercial scale block mold for them
