I figured out why fbr has their custom blocks in their particular shape, it produces less waste after chasing and cutting and less wear on the cutting saws also it saves in weight and thus less momentum build upon the boom which carries around 15 bricks during full build.
there are more advantages but i need to do some more research and consult my builder friends... more later....
