ehh no pivac said they first laid bricks were at test speed and real speed is 4x faster, if you look at the video of the block saw you see it cut's through it like butter and in 1 second and the adhesive sprayer was also run at slower test speed initially, pivac said all elements were first tested at slow speed every robot inside hx was

all robots can be adjusted and programmed to run at various speeds.

the adhesive pump was already adjusted ....at the first indoor build it sprayed to much now it sprays perfectly, pivac said they tweaked various mechanical mechanisms....they don't need to build a new hx...they just upgraded some parts just like how you can upgrade a car.

the speed of laying has more to do with robot g forces onto the material handled, they could easily cut a brick like it's butter and thus make it cut even faster but it probably isn't needed to cut faster or it could warp the saw or destroy the saw to fast.

again pivac said they were going to run all internal robots 4 times faster during 10 builds
