I think it is naiive to believe that a better battery technology is not going to come about
The question is when, not if - but given the lead time to develop to commercial production, I think that the PLS supply chain and current battery producers will be here for the medium term (say 5 years) at least.
However them hundreds of little cylindrical tubes in the floor pan of an EV won't be around forever - they're gonna look very old world sooner than we think IMO. What they are replaced with, who knows. That's the next investment opportunity. Anybody out - there let me know if you get wind of it.
