I have skipped a lot of the thread but I must support catgut. The thought of buying an expensive EV that will do little more take me to work if it is only a short commute don't impress me much*,. BTW recharging from flat to full o/night in your garage from a 10A GPO  will not happen.

If you want a boost charge on the way home at 6 pm expect to pay peak electricity price which may not be much less than petrol in a 6 cyl Camry on a $/KM price. But filling the Camry is quicker. lol
