RYG investors still interested in geothermal might be interested in this news about a 10 MW geothermal plant in western Flores, which is the same Indonesian island as RYG's Sokoria project:
In summary, the first phase of this plant became operational in 2011 but the full 10 MW will operate from March this year. It is effectively replacing an expensive diesel power plant which will close after the geothermal plant is fully operational.
One does wonder why Sokoria has not progressed. I suspect PAX/RYG erred in being too ambitious with a 30 MW plant, when a staged project in 5 or 10 MW increments might have been more achievable.
