I doubt their approach would be any different from mine if they were operating at this end of the market and with the same level of funds.

You do your research, you pick 3-4 stocks that you reckon will outperform the rest and you buy and hold with the expectation that it might take 1-3 years for you to get a result.  All stuff they talk about in their investing philosophy.

Could lose it all at any time, but same could be said for any stock.  No stock is safe, bigger they are harder they fall.  If I wanted safety I would put it all in a term deposit, but Warren and Charlie will be quick to tell you that will not keep pace with inflation.
