New Labour /Greens government announced they are looking to change current mining policy on DOC land to further protect and limit what can and can't be done.
West coast of the South Island and the Denniston plateau got a special mention in the news report.
The principle of the NZ mining association certainly did not seem impressed and indicated he was a bit surprised by the move.
I suppose one positive was the Minister for conservation said that this will not mean a total mining ban.
Can't really say I blame whoever is line wipe selling the buy support given the number of negatives hanging over the company.....especially if the seller(s) are selling RCPS recently issued at 2.2 cps for a very sweet 500% gain.
