oh sorry one other poitn of enthusiam i have for a Rudd government is the hope that he will move to strengthen our relationship with China. being a fluent in mandarin i believ he has already impressed the Chinese Leader and if he can make that relationship as tight as Howard did with the US, then that places Australia in a very safe and strategic place in this currently unstable world. China is fast approaching SuperPower status and will soon match the US as world dominators IMO. If australia has close allies with US and China we will benefit for many years to come.
