That's a Super find you have there! You say "Wishful thinking perhaps?" - but I think it's an extremely interesting article indeed. Thanks very much indeed for ferreting this out and posting it.

I thought the Adaptimmune partnership was significant when that was announced. However although Hoos has made a few statements since then about GSK returning to Oncology in a big way I hadn't seen further positive signals.

It's never been a sure thing that GSK would be the one to do a deal with IMU, and I really do think there is serious competition, but GSK must be considered one of the leading contenders.

It sounds as though GSK is getting ready for some major moves so I wouldn't want to be sitting on the sidelines with IMU waiting to buy in at a lower price. Even if GSK doesn't seek a deal with IMU at this point, it's clear that the whole Oncological Immunotherapy field is set to boom.

2018 sure looks like being a fascinating year....
