NGG was up 22.9 percent on large volume in Vancouver last night.

NGG is gold explorer/miner in New Guinea.

MMN owns 18% (or more) of NGG.

ps. noticed yesterday that MMN has bought > 5% of Frontier - which happens to be exploring for gold in New Guinea and happens to also have Mr MacNeil as a director.

Drawing the long boy, but given MMN's links with both NGG (which has just risen sharply) and Frontier (which happens to be also there in NG) I wonder what the rationale for MMN becoming a substantial holder of Frontier might be.
