Dexter, you make a good point, people do forget to account for the time value of money, however in my opinion and I 'stress in my opinion' as you are entitled to yours, how I have put a value on Namibia permit already accounts for time value and discount for risks etc .... as Tullow have already accounted for the time value and discounted for risks etc when they agreed to spend $130M to earn 65%.
If I have a cake and someone agrees to spend $5 to purchase half .... is not a fair value for the other half $5 ??? As such I respectfully disagree with your assertions. And PS to assert that I am ramping .... maybe you better re-read my post in which I state 'COS less than chance of failure, only for gamblers etc' .... you down ramper you :)
