An emergency application for federal protection to stop mining exploration in the Yilgarn that potentially contains 1.4billion tonnes of iron ore has outraged the mining company involved and exposed stark disagreement between Aboriginal leaders over claims to traditional ownership.

Hopefully the claim is rejected as it comes from a group who is not the traditional owner of the Mt Forrest area. The traditional owners are on board with the project.
Some comment or an update from the company would be nice, not good timing with the rights issue going on.
