Rossing South - A New Zone of Mineralisation

Kalahari Minerals plc, the AIM listed mining exploration and evaluation group
with a portfolio of uranium, copper and base metal interests in Namibia, is
pleased to provide an update released by Extract Resources Ltd (`Extract' or
`the Company'), in which Kalahari's subsidiary, Kalahari Uranium Limited, holds
a circa. 40.5% interest.

Kalahari Chairman Mark Hohnen said, 'These results, which include 53m @1,616ppm
U308, are spectacular, and confirm that a new high grade zone has been
discovered on the Rossing South prospect. With a further zone of
mineralisation, Extract's results continue to reinforce our position that
Extract has the potential to deliver well in excess of 500 M lb U308. Kalahari
remains fully supportive of the rapid development strategy that Extract has
initiated, and we look forward to the additional news flow that these
developments will generate. In particular, Extract has progressed well with the
Rossing South Feasibility Study on Zones 1 and 2, and all indications point
towards the prospect supporting one the world's largest uranium mines,
potentially rivalling the scale of the Olympic Dam mine, and it being capable
of producing 15 Mlbs of U3O8 per year.'
