I think you are probably right, it won’t make a difference. Still can’t see much disadvantage in having a higher price going into the TH. On the off chance that the result is neither a complete success or complete failure, it might take a while for the market to revalue the stock, which might give a better opportunity for someone to get out at a higher price if they so wish?
Having a higher price would make it more stressful going into the announcement. At 35c LCT would be one about 1/3 if my share portfolio which is a little crazy haha (not as intense as nztrader though).
