Good point about peak oil but we are almost certainly already on the other side of that peak. That's why oil is going through the roof along with the other finite energy sources.
The basic staples of everyday life are becoming more expensive at an alarming rate as the soaring world population runs on past the point of sustainability.
Something has to give and it is as change is forced on us all in order for us to survive, let alone continue the insane population explosion.

Hopefully the traditional respect of those who have wealth and its trappings will be replaced by respect for those who choose to live a more frugal life in recognition of the dire future our planet faces and our need to change, fast or be responsible for the total collapse of the system.

I don't understand how you guys can still rave on about building your property portfolios in the face of all that is happening. How do you justify it on a moral basis?
20 years ago it wasn't so clear but it's so obvious now so why not take a different path that's constructive in that understanding?
