I purchased WHC over a year ago and as I started to understand the industry , in part thanks to HC posters topped up as the disparity between NEWC spot and WHC widened. With a better understanding of the world woke view on fossil fuels , especially the hatred of coal from Australia media and some politicians this disparity has widened. The WHC price has recovered but not in line with the NEWC price action, partly as some institutions such as Lazard have sold because of their own woke views. This has in many ways held back the share price and given coal enthusiasts such as myself opportunity to add more stock. More recently looking into diversify into other commodity based stocks I purchased NHC as it gave me more exposure to coal with a less volatile / risk compared to WHC. Going forward I have moved into good miners such as EVN and NST as defensive stocks for the inflation attack on various assets , but coal will as far as I can see benefit going forward as the more we get attacked by the ABC woke agenda the more difficult it will be to bring on new coal mines which will in part increase the value of existing supplies, New Acland consent process will be very interesting.
