Becuase it serves the developing worlds need for coal. It is the low cost producer and its own majority shareholder (Soul Pat) who appreciates understands capital discipline and rewarding shareholders.
A high coal price also great for demand suppression or destruction.
We as shareholders benefit from a high price. So why would it benefit us to increase supply? I would rather have extremely high prices and low supply.
Low supply, high prices and better for the environment great win.
