In Oz, we are influenced too much by 'their ABC' plus NIne Group newspapers (and outlier imports such as 'The Guardian' and 'Daily Fail Australia') but with the possible exception of Philippines, Asian governments by and large are about as far from 'wokism' as one will ever observe.
Even when nations like Japan verily verbally commit to 'net zero', what they do may be different in practice. Nowhere is this more true than in mainland communist China, but I gather it may also be the case in South Korea and Taiwan, plus others.
