We have probably a good view on how it will end for coal miners. The main question is how long it will take for them to reach the end. Their valuation is so cheap that it seems to discount a quick end for coal mining, which looks particularly pessimistic. Unless thermal coal prices decrease a lot from where they are now, but I can't see a strong scenario where it might happen, given the dynamic for supply and demand.
