Wouldn't be surprised same thing happen to US and their Tariffs on China.
Parallel imports then came from Vietnam and SE asia countries where china then on sold to US.
It just creates additional costs to the price. Imagine the coal or oil used to freight our coal to india and then to china. Plus the profits made by middlemen.
