If there is any other party interested in a takeover, they would want to do it before the general meeting because if this move is successful, NHC will have effective control of DTE.
They may not want to sell at any price given their pivot to newer streams of business.
Just speculating, but I could see this quickly run to 30 cents before the year is out, especially as the Fed minister said he wants the NSW CSG issue sorted out by Christmas.
That would be exciting!
