I'm still here & enjoying the free ride thanks to the 30c capital raising in 09.
I also hold some NHC & believe NEC is a good fit with with their mostly thermal coal operation at Acland. They recently sold a stake in Arrow Energy and coking coal operation at Suraj to BHP-Mitisubishi at the top of the market. They are in a position to increase the bid. Robert Millner, their chairman, is a canny operator & I believe they are patiently waiting for nervous or pressed share holders to accept their offer before raising their bid. Don't expect them to be hasty.
