I will agree with you on this one Steve, the streets are also narrower with rounded curb and guttering so people end up parking partially on the nature strip (which is illegal) so that 2 cars are able to pass each other. In many cases you are not allowed to install front fences, and the double garages will only fit 2 small cars , or one average holden or falcon. They are commonly known as MacMansions.
