Pat and the team, for what it's worth, here's also my halfpenny's worth (I'm almost totally broke!): Don't remove the "chatty bits" (politics, philosophy, psychology, religion,etc). Au contraire, ADD more, or separate into categories. Where would we be without Ferg's bets, for example? Yaks, Snooker's and many others' including my own (though misguided) passion? Olive's, AnnaP's and others "too numerous to enumerate" (quoting Hibbert here). I've gained far more from these posts than from the ravers about stocks which have made a poor man outa me! I get in here more to see how the folks are coping with the dense and hostile world out there than to gamble my next wage. So, please, DON'T remove probably the only reason for my taking a peeky boo.
I think the notion that people can check into any of these doors, Humour, General, ASX etc, is brilliant. The more doors, the more windows, the greater the amount of merchandise - ardent's first rule of commerce!
