From the announcement below, and also mentioned in a recent German language interview here:
Cathedral
CTDD-001 - It appears to be shallower than CTDD-003B, and closer to the rock chips. I was going to say that this shallower hole is also higher grade, 269m @ 0.4g/t, but the above images seem wrong. One image has the grade labels for 001 and 003B reversed compared to the other image. So I don't know which of the 2 holes is actually 0.4g/t.
This may help us to decide whether the 2Moz inferred resource for Cathedral is realistic.
They say the East block is low grade, with the West block making up most of the resources. It does seem to assume a fairly large area around the drill pads to bs resource, but 400m long intersections make that realistic enough.
It is probably superior to Block C / D which were included at the end of the mine life in the mining plan. Cathedral - 700m long? Block C - 150m long?
RPM North
At 11:50 in the interview, he describes why RPM was downgraded 'it's isolated like a steep dipping island, but we thought it was continuous', 'faulted off block, faulted from something larger, The Mother' (RPM mid, I think, with 76m @ 1.2g/t - good if they find more like that in Mid)
The green is suggesting that they've already added some Inferred Resource to RPM North for RPM Mid's deep intersections. I can't tell whether they've only included some very deep blocks (as per the deep intersections - eg. 30m @ 2g/t from 501m sub-intersection), and thus there's potential to add resources that are shallower after more drilling.
RPM South
It appears that a lot of the better grade ore is near surface (purple/red intersections). Better than the alternative - the same grades, but deeper.
RPM Overall
I circled in purple the resource outlines that make up the 1.24Moz for RPM - they're a little generous, but not overly, normally sticking to the furthest extent of the drills.
RPM Mid to RPM South is the most obvious section that is not included in the inferred resources, and possibly the shallows above RPM Mid, or West of RPM Mid. That'll be getting most of the drilling attention.
It's good to have these resource outlines. I felt we were missing them before. So we can see where exactly the inferred resources assumes the resource outline to reach.
This is AFTER the downgrade. I wonder what the outlines looked like before. Larger? Or maybe they stayed roughly the same, but with lower grades now.
The above somewhat explains. Tonnage changed from 23Mt (@ 2.0g/t) to 31Mt (@ 0.83g/t). So if tonnage changes from 23Mt to 31Mt, I guess RPM Mid was added, and possibly RPM North was cut back.
I feel like this picture is pretty important. It shows us what would add to or detract from the the RPM Inferred Resource with future drilling. Weak drills within the purple areas could detract from it, strong drills in the purple areas could add to it, and any intersections outside of the purple areas would add.
