J8 - Why do you say cohort 4 can't start "in a few weeks". Under cohort 3, patients 7 and 8 are in parallel, and info to date suggests that they are on schedule. Here's my take on the schedule, as posted 25/6/15. Note that in each cohort part 1 is 1 patient, part 2 is 2 patients:
First patient in cohort 3 has been dosed as at 25/6, so we're ahead of schedule (that is, ahead of the schedule I drafted). Leaving the inter-cohort delays the same as before - allowing 3 weeks per review and an extra 2 weeks between cohorts -
- the timetable looks something like : Cohort 2 part 2 (4th&5th patient) ended 25 Jun (was expected 11 Jul). Cohort 3 part 1 ends [+ 6wks + 3 wks] 26 Aug (was 12 Sep). Cohort 3 part 2 ends [+ 6wks + 3wks + 2wks] 11 Nov (was 28 Nov). Cohort 4 part 1 ends [+ 10wks + 3wks ] 10 Feb 2016 (was 27 Feb 2016). Cohort 4 part 2 ends [+ 10wks + 3wks + 2wks] 25 May 2016 (was 11 Jun 2016). Cohort 5 part 1 ends [+ 10wks + 3wks ] 24 Aug 2016 (was 10 Sep 2016). Cohort 5 part 2 ends [+ 10wks + 3wks + 2wks] 7 Dec 2016 (was 24 Dec 2016).
Not much change yet (17 days), but if they shorten the delay between cohorts again I'll start shortening them in the timetable. Saving 2 weeks every time would save 12 weeks overall.
Nice to be ahead of schedule for once, instead of endless delays.
