It is a bit ambiguous but the accumulation of wealth relates to the pre AGE careers of management.
As @Hannabal stated on this forum not so long ago:-

Peter McIntyre is an engineer with over 30 years experience in minerals and discovered the Husab mine when he was MD of Extract Resources. It went from 30c to $8.65 in the last boom."
