Apple works with ARM for all their processors - they may put "M2" or "Bionic" on them, but they are essentially piecing together ARM processor cores to create module built silicon for their phones/tablets and PCs. And who is working with ARM?

Apple is also inherently conservative in their design - they roll out technology that many phone manufacturers have had in their devices for a couple of years - eg, NFC, wireless charging, even 5G - they give the tech a chance to mature a bit before putting it into their products. Where their strength is, is their visual design, ease of usability and reliability - they are like the Toyota of the Smartphone world, with far better marketing and far higher margins.

I don't think Apple will be among the first to deploy Akida in their devices for the above reasons - I'd say Google Pixel and Samsung will take those honours.
