You need to take these things with a grain of salt. Originally when the ihp plant started production in late 2013, management were very loud in saying that the process was ready to go and would produce acid straight away, at the time jdc was also largely run autonomously from the investor base. A lot of investors firmly believed that this would be the case, however as we now know this wasn't correct.
3 years down the track and jdc is pretty much run hands on by the investors. As such the rhetoric that management states is much more inline with what can be found in the quarterly reports for Avenira or on the agrifos web site.
What we now do know is that the major technical issues have been resolved and given jdc's knowledge of the process and much tighter management by associated investors you would expect this to mean that the process is commercial. This in itself is a major achievement.
Jdc could have the demo plant up and running in the next year and Avenira could begin working on the bfs for an ihp plant at wonarah or baobab. We do know that if a commercial ihp plant is built the first one will be by Avenira.
The whole jdc message has gone 180 degrees to under promise to hopefully over deliver.
