They can come and stir the pot all they like. If you've ever had the task of building an international business, it's bloody hard, especially so when there's nothing with any critical mass to acquire as a beach-head, as is the case with childcare in Australia. Even if they ended up buying Affinity, so what? They will still have to slog away buying up single centres or small groups in order to grow, or do greenfields start-ups, which take years to establish.
No threat to GEM's strategy whatsover in my view, not for some years to come anyway.
