Absolutely.
While most of us won't need the tank turn function, it does show how individual motors will take traction to a new level.
Rivian claims that their drive system gives their pickup the handling of a sports car. Considering how heavy they are, it remains to be seen whether that's completely true.
That said, these skateboard based evs open up a new design platform making them superior to an ice vehicle because of their flexibility and their weight distribution.
There's plenty going on in the electric pickup space outside of the big names such as Tesla, Ford and Rivian. 2021 is going to be pretty exciting.
