I detested him then and still do. BUT he at least had a vision and built a plan around that vision and proceeded to implement that plan regardless of opposition from within and without the liberals. Where I part company with Johnny is where his vision led but that is for a different thread. In a similar vein was Paul Keating. agree or disagree with him, he had a vision which he implemented.
Where are the leaders today? There is little or no ideology or vision shown by anyone in senior positions of all the parties. They appear only concerned about how they and anything they say will be perceived and received by the commentariat. It's no wonder we are going nowhere (very fast).
The latest example is scummo now having no target for vaccinations. Yes He's now planning to do nothing. He can't fail as there is no target. It will be easy, nothing to strive for.
