Scotty, while you dream of wind and solar, some of us live in the real world and understand the limitations of those sources. Your "pipe dream" is reliant upon technology that doesn't even exist in any proven form yet you think we should bet the countries energy security on that? Nuclear is proven safe, reliable and carbon free, yes it's expensive capex but these plants last decades and will secure our energy future for a long, long time to come.
Why do you think there isn't a single country on earth that has a fully renewable system that is reliant on wind, solar and storage?
