Have been watching Tesla just now and they are really pounding along.

The earnings call is expected end of 24th October US time of course.

Below is a note that's been shared out into the market via Reuters.

** Tesla jumps nearly 8 pct on Tues as short-seller Citron reverses opinion, saying "story has become too compelling to ignore"

** Firm writes in note "with a great deal of analysis and due diligence that we can say for the first time, Citron is long Tesla as the Model 3 is a proven hit and many of the TSLA warning signs have proven not to be significant."

** "While the media has been focused on Elon Musk’s eccentric, outlandish and at times offensive behavior, it has failed to notice the legitimate disruption of the auto industry that is currently being DOMINATED by Tesla," firm writes

** Change in view comes a month after Andrew Left-led Citron sued electric carmaker over CEO Elon Musk's plan to take the co private

** Musk announced on Twitter on Aug 7 that he might take Tesla private for $420/sh, in a $72 bln transaction for which "funding" had been "secured"

** TSLA shares last up ~6 pct at $276.77. Stock has lost more than a quarter of its value since Aug 7 close

** Tesla slated to report Q3 results after market close on Weds
