I don't think  JL is doing anything beyond commentary as he sees it....

His post about getting a move on at SDV was pretty much what we're all feeling, frustration at the time the J/V deal is taking.  

As far as the NMX/GXY tweet, I think that was simply a reflection on the possible execution risks that new tech might bring to the project, he did say he'd heard a rumour from Oz.

I suspect he'd heard about the (then) impending big announcement from LPD and made an assumption.

As far as being down on GXY or upset about some Ganfeng rumour, I doubt that he would be quite so petty. He has made his career from his relationships within the industry.

Every instance I can recall of Joe being critical of a company or individual has contained no ambiguity. He makes it quite clear what and why.


He was/is meeting with GXY, amongst others, in the last few hours........
