OK. No chit chat.
AC is going hard news only.
From now on. I promise, mods.
I have learnt the error of my ways.
No more walking the dog and meeting lithium people and no “warm and fuzzy” stuff.
I’m changing mode from Romeo-ing those lithium newbs with my seductively oiled and scented adjectives
to Angel Of Death to Lithium Shorters Mode.
Since other people’s opinions are always the best and most trustworthy kind -
I’d like to share my current Lithium Industry Bestest Links for your weekend reading.
Presented without metaphor and a minimum of rhetorical flourish.

Follow the Money (as it leaves Oil behind)
Saudi Arabia’s Aramco IPO possibly on the verge of falling apart because of EVs
https://www.truthdig.com/articles/c...ly-expand-electric-car-market-and-save-tesla/
Obviously one of many problems with the IPO, even after a year of denials and wishful thinking
https://oilprice.com/Latest-Energy-News/World-News/Aramco-Mass-EV-Adoption-Still-Decades-Away.html
But it’s no longer “on track” any more as the guy said above.
Could it be the sovereign risk?

Or is it the location of the exchange?

Or more complex and geopolitical problems?

You guys decide.
A bit of all of the above - but the first link was definitely the tastiest.
Problem is when the whole Giant Oil IPO game plan is set up to manipulate and push the oil price to $100/barrel
it is indeed a terrible mistake to ignore the early onset of sub-$30k EVs and the sunset clause on Internal Combustion Engines.
Particularly when instos and funds are rapidly divesting of fossil fuel stocks
http://www.*.com/vanguard-blackrock-and-exxonmobil-worry-about-climate-change-2018-2/?r=AU&IR=T
with the kicker that it seems to improve profitability
http://theconversation.com/want-a-richer-pension-divest-of-fossil-fuels-93850
and its even happening in Australia (yay for Westpac etc)
https://www.climatecouncil.org.au/2017/05/17/what-you-need-to-know-about-fossil-fuel-divestment/
I make no comment on what the failure of the world’s largest Oil IPO could possibly mean to our sector.
You people can decide that and let me know later.
Galaxy valuations
Recommend reading every other broker report other than Morgan Stanley.
(I’m not sure they print one. Or perhaps it’s produced in a roll format)

For the record, AC uses and recommends Canaccord for a smooth and refined lithium brokerage report experience with a ever-so-slight after taste of cherry picking.
btw: UBS have picked Galaxy, ORE and Albemarle as best 3 lithium stocks for 2018.
How that works out for GXY Shorter Number One - well that’s the exciting bit ahead for us, isn’t it?
At least they seem to have resolved the periscope issue they had earlier this year.
