Not lithium... but potentially a new electric motor design that is boasting big gains in efficiency, torque and amount of copper needed. The current electric motor is really not much different to when it was originally designed 100ish years ago. Had a quick look and if it pans out this will be a BIG boost to any EV's in the future. 10% gain with more torque is very nice but if the motor is lighter that should also add up to more mileage.
