Ok Benzene level was 1point higher than recommended level in one well only Do they realise that benzene is a naturally occurring product
Why are they cropping or farming cattle on top of a shale oil outcrop. Surely when ground water levels increase the associated benzene levels also went up. The only difference being there was no stringent water analysis being done to detect it.
The independant scientific advisers must be having a field day with the DERM directors that don't belong at the helm of such an important department (even if they are currently the enemy)
Qld govt can afford to pay us 20-30m if they can regain those monies in a few years from cattle production
