Someone held this price at 16c and now it appears they are letting it go or driving the price down. Demand in China is still forecast to top at 4.2bn tonnes a year in 2015 before renewables etc start taking away demand. However, India is still ramping up.
The need for coal is still there and for the forseeable decade ahead by all accounts and reports. The big questions is whether the infrastructure will ever get built for the Surat basin to become a producer for the multitude of mining companies there!
