Although I am interested in a contrary view...
Can anybody propose a realistic situation where COK can pay off their debt (which is $100M or thereabouts IIRC) and then fund Baralaba (about $330M COK's current share)?
Selldown to JFE would help but even at 62.5% COK that's still $260M for Baralaba.
Asset sales would seem to be out of the question in the current market. They wouldn't get fair value and anyway, their two main non-core assets are Kingaroy and Hume which are both squarely located in NIMBY paradise.
