I suspect the fault lies with the quality of the board of directors, and less so the management (who deserve some blame). On 25 March 2021, the Board said that the offer of $1.34 per share was "utterly opportunistic and profoundly undervalues MCP".
Idiots. They should be held accountable for such a BS statement without any factual basis or financial support.
