New M&A deal in the telecom space

See Singapore listed telecom business "M1 Ltd" has received a takeover bid this morning, with the shares rallying +28% on the news. Aside from a similar market cap and industry position as Vocus (i.e. smallest of the big players), this is relevant because it shows the generic value in telecom assets. In addition with one less acquisition target in the Singapore market it makes Australian targets even more attractive to the well funded Singaporeans.
